What's a Satoshi?

A Satoshi is the smallest fraction of a Bitcoin that can currently be sent: 0.00000001 BTC, that is, a hundredth of a millionth BTC.

However it's possible that in the future the protocol will be updated to allow further and smaller subdivisions, should they be neededand required by the community.

Examples of units of BTC

1 BTC = 1,000 mBTC (millibitcoin)

1 BTC = 100,000,000 Satoshis

NXT cryptocurrency

Bitcoin Beggar likes doing experiment.

So today he tried a new cryptocurrency: NXT

Some difficulties in installing the client, but nothing too difficult (NXT was just released, and the guys are stille developing it).

There's also a faucet for NXT: you can get one to four NTXs for free... but the Beggar does'nt know if it works.
It seems working, but no NTXs arrived on his wallet... nor in the online blockchain explorer it's possible to find the transaction (following, the role of last transactions on the faucet).
The Beggar will try later: maybe it needs a little time... and he will update you.
